Synopsis
The film follows the coming-of-age story of Daiane dos Santos, the athlete who reinvented gymnastics to sign her name in the worldwide history of the sport.
To prove to the country that she could be a champion, Daiane overcame social barriers, racism and the limits of her own body, reaching unprecedented achievements and signing her name is the history of the sport.
Daiane became the first Brazilian gymnast to win a gold medal at a world championship and changed the history of the sport with her own move, the double twist carpado, or Dos Santos I.
