Synopsis
The movie portrays the recording process of internationally acclaimed DJ Alok’s debut album, on a musical gathering with indigenous artists and leadership. Alongside Célia Xakriabá, Mapu Huni Kuin, Wyana Uia-Thê, Matsini Yawanawá, Rasu, Owerá (MC Kunumi), Brô MCs and Kretã Kaingang, Alok discovers a new dimension in musical experience: the healing power of music. The film transcends the artist’s personal experiences and delves into real conflicts to ensure indigenous rights to life, as for the entire human species, in one of the most threatening moments to the rights of indigenous peoples in Brazil.
