Welcome to Maria Farinha Films!

These terms and conditions of use (“Terms”) govern your access and use, as either an individual or legal entity (“User”, “you” or “Client”), regarding the services provided by Maria Farinha Filmes (“Marinha Farinha” or “MFF”), Corporate Taxpayer ID (CNPJ/MF)No. 12.396.390/0001-40, through the digital platform (https://mff.com.br/), (the “Maria Farinha Platform” or “Platform”) , which was specially developed to house the production company’s portfolio.

These Terms must be read carefully before using the Maria Farinha Platform or the Maria Farinha services to be contracted. Thank you for choosing our services (collectively, the “MFF Service” or “Services”).

Interpretation of definitions

The terms listed below are used in various parts of this document, whether in the singular or plural form, and shall always have the meaning defined below:

User: any individual or legal entity that uses the website of the production company Maria Farinha Filmes with the purpose of gaining access to the features offered by the website, including access to the catalog of audiovisual works on said website, with this catalogue including the list of audiovisual works included by the production company, whether or not they include a review, synopsis and critique freely prepared by the production company or technical data, credits, trailer or the work itself (whether in part or in full) through an embedded Vimeo video of these works.

Virtual Room: a virtual room provided by the production company Maria Farinha Filmes so that Exhibitors can hold a collective session online (for at least 5 people) free of charge. The Exhibitor will have full control over the session in order to start, pause and end a session containing the exhibition of the work, as well as being able to manage the messaging chat, and even deleting messages or user(s), at their own discretion;

Exhibitor: any User who requests and obtains express authorization from the production company to carry out a collective and free exhibition, whether in-person or online, of an audiovisual work offered for this purpose through email exchanges, all in accordance with the conditions set out in these Terms of Use.

Acceptance of these terms

By clicking on the link “I have read and agree with the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use and Services” when registering on the Platform, the User declares to have read, understood and accepted all the conditions established in these Terms. If there is any disagreement with any of the provisions contained herein, the User is recommended not to use the Platform and/or contract the services offered through it.

By accepting these conditions, the User assumes, for all purposes, that he or she is at least 18 years of age (or an emancipated minor), fully capable of freely consenting to these Terms of Use and being obliged to comply with them. If the User is not yet 18 years old (or, if a minor, if not emancipated) or is not fully capable, the User must be assisted by their legal guardians, in accordance with relevant legislation.

The User undertakes to access and use this Platform in accordance with all applicable laws. The use of the Platform by the User constitutes full legal acceptance of all the provisions of these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, we advise you not to use this Platform.

If the User is a legal entity, the person identified as its legal representative must have full powers and full lawful and concrete capacity to consent to these Terms of Use and use the functionalities of the Maria Farinha Filmes website on behalf of said legal entity.

The User acknowledges and accepts that Maria Farinha may use their personal data and information in accordance with the Privacy Policy, available at the link which regulates the collection, storage and use of personal data of Users entered on the Platform and which also must be duly observed by the User.

The User agrees to the terms of the Privacy Policy, including the obligations and rights imposed therein.
